Sustainable development in practice
In a world that is constantly changing, EveryDay demonstrates daily, through its actions, its care both for the consumers and for the environment. Facing every new need as an opportunity for innovation, it closely monitors global developments and incorporates pioneering, innovative features into its product design.
Care has always been a key ingredient of EveryDay. After all, it was the 1st brand in the world to discern consumers’ need for protection without irritation, as well as their tendency towards materials that ensure not only absorbency, but also maximum skin-friendliness.
Hence, in 1997 the brand introduced EveryDay Sensitive pads, the 1st Sensitive pads in the world which, as opposed to regular non-Sensitive pads, did not feature a cover made of perforated plastic film but a uniquely skin-friendly, hygienic cover made of fibers. This launch paved the way for the Sensitive Concept, which nowadays is an indisputable value in feminine hygiene, as well as for the All Cotton Concept, which in 1998 introduced yet another great innovation in feminine hygiene: the 1st pantyliners in Greece with a cover made of 100% cotton!
Therefore, it should come as no surprise that for a brand so inextricably linked with care, Sustainable Development is a self-commitment that stems from its own principles and values.
For MEGA S.A., the 100% Greek company behind the brand EveryDay, personal care and hygiene are closely related with the planet’s well-being. It is for this reason, after years of operating with absolute respect for the environment, it employed both the international and Greek innovation developed in its labs, to create the Program Act Green: Redesign – Reduce – Recycle.
Today, MEGA S.A. proves in practice its environmental commitments, incorporating in the design of all its products pioneering and innovative features that relate to the 3 action pillars of the Program Act Green, respond to crucial environmental issues and pave the way for a sustainable future.
