Faithful to its commitment to minimize any environmental impact caused by its day-to-day operations and by incorporating, in all decisions and procedures, the principles of sustainable development, the company has recently completed a very significant upgrade of the entire range of EveryDay pantyliners. Our pantyliners now feature a core made of plant fibers, which is FSC™ certified. In addition to that, the carton packaging also consists, of recycled FSC™ cardboard (95%).
More about the FSC™ certification
FSC™ (Forest Stewardship Council™) is an international, independent, non-profit and non-governmental organization founded in 1993 to support environmentally sound, beneficial and sustainable forest management worldwide. FSC™ certification ensures that the certified products derive from responsibly managed forests, controlled sources, recycled materials or a combination thereof.
It should also be noted that MEGA DISPOSABLES S.A., as a company itself, has been FSC™ Chain of Custody certified. The requirements of this certification include a management system aiming at the effective monitoring of raw materials, at all stages of their processing (i.e. from the forest to all intermediate stages of production, until the delivery of the final product to consumers), ensuring that the raw materials used abide to the requirements of the standard. This certification places MEGA DISPOSABLES S.A. among the global group of leading companies, which create a shield of protection, ensuring that the management of forests is carried out in a responsible and correct way.
