The symptoms of the period
If you already had your period, you have noticed that in those days you usually feel tired, your mood is bad, your head and waist hurts, and your belly feels bloated… you’re not at your best and you have certainly had better days!
This is because in the second half of the cycle, until the onset of the period, the female hormones (estrogen and progesterone) increase, causing fluid retention throughout the body, especially breasts. The severity of these symptoms can generally vary from woman to woman, but it’s a normal pain and, most importantly, the above mentioned symptoms are treatable. To learn how, please read the article: How to deal with the symptoms of the period.
All these may sound a bit scary, but as you grow up you will understand that this is a very healthy phase in every woman’s life and you will see that whenever your period pattern is repeated, everything in your body works like a clock!
